Product Description Usage
Critical Value Report (CVR) Benchmark and analytics comparing client company with peers by SIC/NAICS code and revenue level. Used to assess historical and/or projected financial health of a business. Compares client company with peer group.
Business Plan (BP) The Business Plan is a forward looking view of the company based on market criteria and strategic growth analysis. The Business Plan may be used to support future value computations towards enhancing the valuation. The  BP is used as a strategic planning document to direct marketing, product development and operations company activities. Focus is on enhancing shareholder value.
Capital Market Analysis (CMA) The CMA is an analytical tool for use by investors, acquisitors, strategic partners or others wishing a critical view of the company. A score similar to the FICO score is given with a total possible score of 1000. Grading of the company into A, B, C and D is provided to quickly assess fundability. The CMA is used to assess the financial and strategic health of the business. It takes an unbiased view of the products and markets, the business strategy and the management team.
Opinion of Value (OV) The OV is a business valuation using various methods to assess the current value. The OV is used to establish the value of the company. This could be required for the sale of the company, investment, divorce, life insurance or other reasons to know the value of the company.
Comprehensive Business Analysis (CBA) The CBA is IBT’s flagship product and is an in-depth comprehensive view of the client’s company. It is used by the Seller to help display the company in its best light to help the Buyer in his screening process. It also suggest various transactional alternatives to aid in funding, loan approval or earn out scenarios. The CBA provides a strategic and tactical view of the company for the purpose of buying or selling the company. Either a buyer or seller may use the report to assess the deal potential.
Capital Funding Package This is the product used by companies seeking bank financing. These may be on behalf of sellers or buyers as a function of the deal. Once a company owner determines the best course of action to meet his specific goals and financing is indicated, this package can be used by the company owner to arrange lender financing. A buyer may also use this package to secure funding to finance the transaction.
Disposition Analysis Report (DAR) The DAR is used in the sort and disposition of the asset for use by MCBI Managing Directors, brokers or others interested in a critical review of the company. This report is used to provide an unbiased view of the business and provide indication of the deal potential and help prioritize the effort needed to consummate the transaction.
